The electric bass is center stage on H-Pi’s YouTube channel, Bass of Duty.
H-Pi is a sound designer, composer (Styx: Master of Shadows, Styx: Shards of Darkness, Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs) and creator of the YouTube channel Bass of Duty.
Since 2015, H-Pi has been paying an electric bass tribute to his favorite video games composers of the ’90s: Koji Kondo (Super Mario Bros. 2), Masato Nakamura (Sonic), Motoaki Takenouchi (Shining Force II), Shinichi Sakamoto (Wonder Boy), etc. As you can see, most of the musicians are Japanese, but German composer Chris Hülsbeck (Mega Turrican) also makes an appearance.
